Nick Howe business guru for start ups, was first speaker up and gave great advice on how to grow your business using simple, easy solutions.
Nicks other easy steps to business growth:
“Fall in love with your customers problem, not your solution.”
-That will allow you to put yourself in your customers shoes and operate more effectively.
“Don’t be afraid to hire people that are better than you.”
– Rather than letting fear and intimidation get in the way, learn from people better than you. Create a dream team and grow your business!
The lovely Orsi Toth, content marketing expert from, Get Set For Growth, then enlightened us in the importance of content marketing and how to master it…

Orsi taught us how to “milk content”, and how recycling past material will save you and your business valuable time.
Orsi’s top tips on content marketing:
Create a profile on your desired demographic.
– Personalise their profiles to get to know your customer and what content they will likely respond to.
Use SEO programmes such as Google Analytics to Measure and monitor your content response and engagement.
– This can be tricky if you don’t know your way around it. Why not look up courses or hire someone that does, to teach you?
A key element in growing your business is funding.
Luckily our own Janice Beckles was on hand to give tips on your next steps to funding.
Networking and refreshing contacts is vital in maintaining growth. It was an absolute pleasure to see different businesses networking and gaining potential key connections.
