About Claudine

Award winning business woman Claudine Reid MBE, Director of PJs Community Services, a social enterprise that provides a range of social care services, as well as employment and business training, will be the guest speaker.

Claudine has been running PJs, alongside her husband Patrick for 20 years, and has experienced numerous changes in the social care sector, which impacted the business. Patrick and Claudine had to amend  their business strategy in order to face the challenges head on and still keep on track to achieve their goals and objectives.

And amidst these challenges Claudine still had to keep herself and her staff motivated as she steered the business through a tough economic landscape so that it come out relatively unscathed and still thriving.

Alongside her role as Director of PJs Community Services, Claudine also has experience in numerous sectors.  She has worked for some Government Departments.  Stints have included serving as a Cabinet Office Social Enterprise Ambassador and being a member of the Prime Minister’s Nomination Panel for the Big Society Awards.  She has also served as a charity trustee, school governor and has established links with various networks, both nationally and internationally

In 2012 Claudine established Women on the Frontline, a network which aims to equip and empower women to achieve their professional /business goals.
